Background

Dynamic Protection Areas (DPAs) enable spectrum sharing in the CBRS band by dynamically restricting commercial operations in specific zones only when federal incumbent systems (primarily DoD radar) are active. This replaces larger static exclusion zones and maximizes available spectrum for CBRS users.
